Data Protection Notice For Applicants to Amsterdam Berlin GmbH

We process the data that you send us in connection with your application in order to check your suitability for the position (or any other open positions in our company) and to carry out the application process.

Processing may also be carried out electronically. This is particularly the case if you send us the relevant application documents by, for example, e-mail.

We process your data in three ways:

  1. Via LinkedIn
  2. Via Instagram
  3. Via our work@amsterdamberlin.com email inbox

Please note that LinkedIn and Instagram have their own privacy notices, which you can find here:

In this context, we process the following categories of your personal data: details in your CV, gender, title, first name, surname, address, telephone, email and the content of a personal message you have written.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this application procedure is primarily Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR (fulfilment of our (pre-)contractual measures). Should the data be required for legal prosecution after completion of the application process, data processing may be carried out on the basis of the requirements of Art. 6 GDPR, in particular to safeguard legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our interest then lies in the assertion or defence of claims under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Applicant data will be deleted after 6 months in the event of a rejection. If relevant, you will receive an invitation to join our AB Talent Pool following the application process. This allows us to consider you for alternative suitable vacancies in our applicant selection process in the future. If you have given your consent, we will store your application data in accordance with your consent and delete your data after 12months. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. If you have been accepted for a position as part of the application process, the data will be transferred from the applicant data system to our personnel information system.

Your data will be reviewed by the Role Recruiter upon receipt of your application. Suitable applications are then forwarded internally to the department managers responsible for the respective open position. The further process is then coordinated. Within the company, only those persons who need access to your data for the proper conduct of our application process have access to it.

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place as part of the application process.
